If your in search of a party this month, start planning: Koninginnedag. On the 30th of April The Netherlands celebrates 'Queensday'. The whole country will be colored orange and every corner will be packed with partying people. IN2TRAVEL introduces photo features. A photographer in the spotlight with a certain theme or country. We kick of with Siebe Baarda, a Dutch photographer with a great Queensday set.

Where did you make the pictures? 
Amsterdam

What can you tell about the pictures?: 
Walking around the city on 'Koninginnedag' always gives a nice set of pictures. You should be careful for beer that's being thrown around. Nowadays I use a plastic cover. 

Which of the pictures gives the best impression?:
This one!

How long have you been doing photography and what is the most interesting subject?:

I've been making photographs since I was twelve. After making polaroid I started with a darkroom and developing pictures myself. Nowadays, I go out to make pictures on a daily basis. I like shooting in Amsterdam. Next to making pictures on congress, I've been photographing weddings with a lot of fun.
